Lateral file can stand alone, or the top can be removed to convert it to a support pedestal for a Mod desk or credenza shell. It accommodates a large volume of filing in an efficient format that saves floor space, increasing the storage capacity of a workstation. Drawers are equipped with standard hangrails to hold either letter-size or legal-size hanging files. File folders are arranged side-to-side to take up less aisle space when drawers are opened. Steel ball-bearing, drawer suspensions operate easily and quietly. Leveling glides compensate for uneven floors. Durable laminate is scratch-resistant, spill-resistant and stain-resistant. Traditional Mahogany matches other Mod elements (sold separately) so you can create an office suite to fit your needs.
